The park offers concrete and gravel RV pads; RV rentals; family cabins; glamping tents; and primitive camping. Amenities include fishing, a bath house with private rooms, a children’s playground complete with zip line, and golf cart rentals for getting back and forth to the spring-fed pond. Visitors will have access to wi-fi in most of the camp.
Lisa is awesome! This park has it figured out! Spacious lots, clean grounds, great bathhouse. And lovely walking trails! What more could you want? Oh yeah...a beautifully clean pool! Thanks Oaks Family!
Be cautious of this RV park, which is run by a "Family", as they may charge your credit card for a whole month even if you stay for only 4 nights! What's worse, the front desk staff is unable to process a refund because they need to consult the owner, who is rarely present. We paid nearly $800 and have yet to receive a refund. This kind of greed and dishonesty is unacceptable, especially in this economy. Remember, what goes around comes around.
We had a great experience staying here. Very quiet, the kids enjoyed the pool and playground. We were in spot 26, it was more wooded and secluded which we enjoyed. Unfortunately I don’t think the Wifi reached to our spot but gave us an opportunity to unplug for the weekend. Finished our stay with a walk around the lake. Hopefully next time we stay, we can stay a bit longer.
We stayed here for a week and it was great. We picked the site for our camper in the shaded tree area. The bathrooms are large and clean with a toilet, shower, sink and bench (and air conditioned). The pool is only 3 feet but the kids (age 11 and 14) had a great time playing it. The playground was great for our kids as well, with some equipment there for older kids (including a small zip line). The location is close to town. The laundry area was small but adequate and half the price of the laundromats in town. Highly recommended this campground.
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this campground this past weekend. We rented cabin 7. The ONLY complaint we had was no TV in that unit. We had brought card games with us so it all worked out. If we are in the Andalusia area again and need a place to stay, we will not hesitate to contact Lisa again.
