If you are looking for a very special piece of heaven on earth, you found it. I had the most amazing time here. From the kayaking, to the beautiful scenery, everywhere I looked was beautiful. It feels very secluded and the hosts, Brad and Chuck, are such wonderful people. The cabins are very clean and lovely. Not only can you kayak, you can canoe or rent a pontoon boat!! I saw a variety of wildlife and I can't say enough good things about this wonderful property. Oh, and there is a pool and camping is an offering. Just wow!

Thanks for a great week. Cathy and I felt right at home. Chuck and Brad were great hosts. We can’t wait for a return visit.

I don’t want to forget to give Kevin a shout out. Down to earth real deal folks.

See next time

Gene Fox.

We stayed in cabin 3 and loved it! Chuck, Brad, and their 3 dogs are wonderful hosts. Our family loves to fish and enjoyed being so close to the water. The cabins are clean and come stocked with your basic necessities. This is the perfect place to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying time outdoors. Our daughters were never bored! The swimming pool is an added bonus and the perfect place to cool off in the afternoon. We will be returning next year!

We visited this business the week of 7/15/23 to rent one of their pontoon boats and then rent kayaks later in the week. What a wonderful experience it was! Chuck was extremely pleasant to deal with and was very clear about the rules and expectations for renting the pontoon boat. He also gave my husband a quick lesson in the controls

For this particular boat and it made all the difference. The Dockhand Fischer was an absolute gem! He was super polite, funny and easy to deal with and gave us a great recommendation for a dinner place in Chattanooga! My teenage kids were very glad to see him again later in the week when we rented the kayaks. All the rentals were in superb shape as promised and I would highly recommend this business to anyone living in or visiting the area!

We selected Cabin 2 because of its outdoor 2 person jetted tub and never regretted it. We worried about privacy at first but realized unless someone is on the deck with you it’s pretty private. We began and ended each day relaxing in that tub. The cabin had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed borrowing a canoe and fly fishing on the river. We drove a little over 30 minutes to get to Chattanooga and spent some time there. We also loved hiking at Snoopers lookout. It was about an hour drive to wind around the lake but beautiful scenery and plenty of time to daydream about owning our own cabin one day. Chuck was super nice and quick to appear with his beautiful doggies if we needed something but otherwise gave us privacy. It was a wonderful trip and we’ll be back!
