From town: Go 1-1/2 mi W on US-11-E, then follow signs 4-1/2 mi N to Cherokee Dam Reservation.
We had a wonderful time walking around the area and enjoying the scenery! The water level is down now due to winter, but just enjoyed the place so much can't wait to go back when the Park Is open, and will get a campsite too!
Our family enjoyed our fun camping weekend. We even got a bonus with the Halloween fun they had for families of campsite trick or treat, costume ,pumkin ,campsite decorations contest . Movie nights with free popcorn ....yea it was a fun filled weekend. Very clean campground and very friendly staff and other guest so friendly.
The Campground is beautiful and well kept. The manager and hosts were very accommodating and even helped us out when we ran into a problem with our camper. David and Tara were excellent hosts and we really appreciated their help and knowledge regarding our stay. Don't forget to grab a milkshake during your stay!
This was only our second time camping with our new camper. We couldn't have picked a prettier campground and beautiful location. All of the staff were so nice and helpful with anything we needed. (Especially since we are newbies at camping) Tara and David were exceptional!! In fact, we loved it so much, we booked another 5 days in November. We can't wait to go back. Was a great stay. The hosts were friendly and made sure all our needs were met. Very peaceful and lovely campground. One thing would be very nice to add and is a great asset to the campers would be a sewer pumper service. The bathhouse was nice and very clean. We will be camping there many more times
