Absolutely LOVED my stay! Super hospitable staff, PERFECT location close to some INCREDIBLE hiking. And lots of reasonably priced options for whichever type of stay you prefer. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay again!
Walking distance to the beautiful hikes in and around Greeter Falls and the campgrounds were well kept and clean. It was late-Fall, so not very crowded, but we had a great time with 5 kids under 11 and they loved playing around the play area.
Looking forward to another visit soon!
This is the cutest campground. They have little cabins that contain the office, a kitchen that you can buy food like chicken tenders, hot dogs, breakfast foods, etc. A larger cabin with arts and craft activities. The buildings and common areas are lit up with pretty lights. The people that own the campground and the people that work there are all very kind, helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay there very much.
Last summer at our 50th reunion we hatched a plan to visit our classmates campground in Tennessee. Two weekends ago we pulled it off and met at Greeter Falls for 3 nights. What a great spot!
The location was stunning with awesome falls and hiking trails nearby. The campground itself, although only a few years in existence, was well thought out and in great shape. The newly erected buildings were perfect and the bathhouse was very clean. Our yurt was also clean, dry, and warm (the nights were getting cool).
To go with that, the entire staff was pleasant and eager to please. Good people. Highly recommended 👍🏼
This is a great campground close to Savage Gulf hiking and waterfalls! Privately run and well maintained yet not super fancy. I really liked how they kept most of the trees in the camping areas which makes it feel like you’re really outdoors and not at some overdeveloped RV park. Great camping option for a family with children. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Was very quiet after dark. Veterans discount was a nice bonus!
