About Campground

A four-acre plot bordered by Burnett Creek. We have multiple creekside, primitive camping spots that are shaded by trees, and adaptable to multiple groups. From the meadow to the creek, life swarms all around. Bees, Butterfly Bush, Milkweed, Otters and more enrich the environment. Potable water and a portable bathroom are on site. The site itself is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in, a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. Best suited for van, car, bike, tent, and hammock camping without the frills of a KOA. Bookings are for 2 people each to keep it from feeling crowded. If you have more than 2 you will need to book multiple sites.

I stayed here 4 nights with a friend and had a blast! The campground is conveniently located right outside Knoxville with grocery stores, breweries, restaurants, and several natural areas all located nearby. All campsites are right along a pretty stream and there's tons of cool wildlife in the area. The owners are extremely friendly and went out of their way to improve our camping experience. They're local and can provide great recommendations for the area. If you're looking for a simple, low-cost option I would highly recommend Low Meadow Farms.

What a great place to stay. Very convenient to mountain bike trails and grocery store. It is nice and peaceful just enough outside of town that you don’t know you’re next to a large town. The owners are very nice and considerate to all there guests and doing a great job. Improving the campground. I will definitely be back.

Cute, quiet place to camp. We stayed at site #10 and it was great. Large, shaded area and tucked away from the other camp sites so there is privacy. Creek flows around this site which made for a great sound to fall asleep to. Dog friendly is also a huge plus! Definitely would stay here again.

I loved this camp ground! If you are looking for a small town feel this camp ground is for you! One of the owners came and greeted us on check in and told us a few things we could do that are close. They are super friendly. They own land behind their house and I would have loved to take the trail. Would highly recommend and already putting plans into place to go back! They are super dog friendly and the area we stayed in says it’s for 6 but you would have plenty of breathing room! You are far enough away from the highway that it’s peaceful and quite but close enough if you don’t feel like cooking over a fire you don’t have to.
