From Normandy, Tennessee, go three miles east on Normandy Road to campground.
Stayed towards the end of September. Beautiful sites available right on the water. Very cleanly kept grounds. Sites are level are many are pull through as well. Can't wait to come back again!
Beautiful campground and all the staff was very nice and helpful. Very clean bathrooms and grounds. Awesome site right on the water. One of the prettiest lakes I have ever been on. We will be back for sure!!!
We paid $40 for our campsite. It was well shaded with lots of room in between other RV's. The public showers were very clean. A walk to the lake was spectacular as it was fall, tons of trees in full color. The town of Shelbyville is close by but only one store was open on Sunday so we went to the Jack Daniels distillery, 1/2 hr away. That proved to be interesting . I would stay at this campground again.
We stayed at the cabins which are large campers permanently parked. The cabins were very large, clean, and had the majority of things we needed (minus linens and towels) for a fun weekend at Normandy Lake. All cabins included full hookups, so you don't have to go through the hassle of setting up and tearing down a campsite. They all have a great outdoor space to eat and views of the lake. My one minor complaint is that the cellular service (AT&T) is a little weak at the site, so I do wish there was a little stronger signal. This is not a reflection of the Campground. The campground was clean, the beach was great to swim at. A great waterfall nearby to hike. Fantastic Weekend!
Lake view incredible. Many Blue Herons. Saw an Eagle on our arrival looking for fish and making several passes in front of us!
Quiet, Lots of other small birds eating insects along the waters edge.
Bathroom facilities were satisfactory my husband said. There is the Cascade Hollow Distillery within 5 miles.
