Park is clean and well maintained. Employees are extremely helpful and friendly. All sites are gravel and close to being level. Bathrooms are clean and kept stocked. Showers are on the small side and difficult to use properly if you are a medium or larger size adult. There is no handicapped bathroom stall or shower. Laundry room has 4 washers and dryers and is also clean. They offer a social hour in the evening but we didn't make it to the gathering. Sites are close together but there is enough room to open slides.

Middle of the winter with -7 temps forecasted for next week. Your not allowed to put any kind of underpinning around your camper to try and stay warm. Yes I would love to spend my entire paycheck on propane or freeze to death. They want you to turn your water off at night because your responsible for the spicket freezing but they have no regard for you turning into a popsicle. No thank you. Probably a beautiful area in the summer but 0/10 do not recommend in the winter

My husband and I traveled to Tennessee for work, and stayed six months at Raccoon Valley Escapees, and the experience was great! The atmosphere is quiet , and peaceful, it’s always clean , and well kept The price per month is very reasonable .Fran is an awesome host! She always listens and try to make her guests feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you Fran , for everything.

Cleanest bathrooms ever. We just finished staying a month here. It was very hard to leave. Great no frills park. Hiking trails are perfect. Park is quiet, people are friendly. I can't wait to come back already!

We spent a month here and loved it. The hosts were very helpful and responsive, and the park was extremely chill and quiet. It's convenient to downtown Knox and surrounding areas, just minutes away. And there's some wonderful nature trails in the adjacent forest. If your an Escapees member, this is a really good campground. We'll definitely be back.
