Cherokee Landing has some of the friendliest staff we have encountered. Helpful, informative and truly friendly. They helped us find the perfect spot for our RV for the week we were there, listening to our preferences and getting us an almost perfect site. I was glad we are on the smaller side, a larger RV may not have had such a beautiful spot. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ for our specific spot (not the case for all spots in the park)

The bones of a once amazing summer campground are here at Cherokee Landing. Not a luxury campground people today expect but a sweet campground with a pool, (tennis) pickle ball court and mini golf. Unfortunately the amenities are showing their age and neglect. We did see staff out making some repairs and doing upkeep during our stay! That made me hopeful that more will be done to bring this campground back to something fabulous. If more RV sites were repaired and amenities cleaned up/fixed up this could be a 5 ⭐️ campground.

We loved our stay and will be back again! Thank you Cherokee Landing staff for a wonderful stay!

This place is a fragment of its old glory. Showers are run down and appear to not have been cleaned in some weeks. The camp sites were all over grown and the area was filled with trash. The charging ports are all 50 amp so unless you have an adapter you can charge your phone in the stank bathroom. This place is not worth what they are charging. Tent camped here in august of 2023.

The entire campground is beyond run down. We stayed in a camping spot with our Rv but was scared for the people staying in the cabins with the roofs looking like they were falling in. The lady I had to deal with on 10/08 was beyond rude! I couldn’t even believe someone like that works in customer service. The young man we dealt with upon arrival in 10/07 was very nice. We wouldn’t stay here again and our stay was FREE with our membership.

After reading some of the reviews online we almost did not stay. I am glad that we did decide to come. This is a very old campground, however if you want peace and quiet this is the place to go. If you are staying with an RV head to phase one area if available. The full hook up sights work well. We never had any power issues. There are only 30 amp hook up sights. There is a grocery store 7 miles from the sight. If you need a Walmart or larger town you will have to drive 30 min to Bolivar. There are no activities or programs on sight. Propane is available. The laundry room was a nice bonus. The showers did have hot water every time we needed it. The only recommendation I would have about the shower house is to clean it a little better every day. Maybe give them a good spray with some demon x bug killer. Overall we had a peaceful and relaxing time staying here and would stay again.

Thanks for the hospitality.

My husband and I were apprehensive about staying here due to all the negative reviews. We have no clue what these people expected! But we are pleased with this campground. It is peaceful, beautiful, plenty of space. The bathhouse offers hot showers. Laundry facilities are clean and work well. The staff have been friendly and professional. If you are looking to stay were nobody bothers you and quiet this is the place.
