Very friendly and clean RV resort.
We booked three nights. After two nights we booked two months! Very quiet spot! Love the Lazy river and pool are amazing for cooling off. Bathroom, showers, office, laundry room always very clean.
Location of park was 4 mins to gas station and 15 mins to town. Food vendors as well as the Elite Bar and Grill always has great food and drinks!
If you go to the pool and lazy river you should bring your big cup with a lid and straw in order to save the hassle of Staff making you open a tab. If you do order drinks or food make sure to tip appropriately. Workers also live on property and keep and eye on everyone. Cameras all over the park help you feel safe along with locked gate. Very friendly and welcoming community!
My wife and I stayed at St Ives for three weeks while I had a medical procedure. The resort is clean, quite and close to MD Anderson. The photographs of the pool, lazy river and miniature golf is exactly what you will find when you arrive. We utilized the pool , lazy river and the laundry room while we were there, the laundry room was spotless and smelled clean and fresh. We have to return in October and December to Houston and we will stay here both visits.
A nice RV resort with lots of amenities. Bathrooms are super clean along with laundry room and clubhouse. Always something going on at the clubhouse. Lazy river is nice but a bit to cold to use at the moment. Pool and hot tub well maintained. Good water pressure, sewer, and electric hookups are all good. WiFi is fast at the clubhouse and near office but slower away from these locations. My Starlink was super fast at my site on the east side of the park with a clear sky view and no obstructions. Close to Houston, Galveston and almost everything you need in Alvin and Friendswood. Lots of cool birds to see including Great Horned Owl, White Ibis, Great Egret, Great Blue Heron, Red Shouldered Hawks and many more. Highly recommend this resort. Yes there are rules but they are enforced for a reason, to keep the resort nice and guests safe.
Great little RV resort. They have very, very clean facilities, a pool, a lazy river, mini golf and they have a clubhouse which they have events/food happening daily. They also text you with what is happening that day which is so handy. I had broke my foot just before getting there and the bathrooms were handicap accessible with great showers to assist me. They are close to restaurants, stores etc. Great RV spot. I highly recommend St. Ives RV Resort.
We stayed at St. Ives for 2 months (Nov-Jan) and were less than impressed. Anytime it rains, your yard will flood and won’t dry out for quite some time. The bar is overpriced with mediocre food at best. The pool and lazy river are not heated, so we couldn’t use those. Activities in the clubhouse were fun, however, the clubhouse is too small for as many people that go to it. The roads throughout the park were horrible, holes almost everywhere. We were debating on staying longer, but a man in the park threatened to kill one of the other ladies staying 2 sites away from us and slashed 3 of their tires. Turns out the “manager” never told the owner (he was out of the country we believe). So, a week later he is finally getting kicked out. “RV Resort” is a reach from where it currently is. Gates are open 3 or 4 nights a week from around 4 to 9pm. Don't advertise gated park if the gates are always open. Needs better management and they penny and dime you for everything. If you’re in the area, I would seek an alternate park.
