We are located on the Bolivar Peninsula, just a short ferry ride from Galveston, Texas. Visitors enjoy miles of beautiful beaches as well as an amazing diversity of birds and flowers. For bird lovers, we are situated at the center of seven bird sanctuaries. Across the bay is the Anahuac Wildlife Refuge.
If you don't like the hustle and bustle of being in town this is absolutely a must stay at. We enjoyed the quiet night life sitting by the fire pit, and the wild life.
The property managers we're very helpful and informative, and answered all of our questions that we asked we will be staying there in any future stays that we have on Bolivar peninsula!
Our family had a great time here. The RV was fantastic, very spacious, very clean with everything in working order, AC was working good, we appreciated the keriug coffee maker, all 3 TVs and remotes worked good, they have free wifi in the resort but we used our Hotspot. Plenty of clean sheets and towels. Very close to the beach and you can borrow their canopies, chairs and even a cooler if you forgot yours. Our kids enjoyed the free bikes, pirateship and cornhole but did not use the kayaks. We visited in July 2023 and weather was in the high 80's. Easy to book online and David was a great answering all my questions, he was a great host, friendly and respectful; we have no complaints and we will comeback here for sure.
We had a wonderful time at Hailey's. The RV was more spacious than I expected and very comfortable. The camp host and other guests were very nice. The kids enjoyed the pirate ship playground. Everyone wants to go back this summer!
My cousin had her wedding here and was nothing but a nightmare! We were told we could arrive anytime of the day and things would be ready. The campers were not ready when we arrived @1130. The owner was an hr away and no one was there to welcome us. We paid extra to have the place setup so we could decorate and nothing had been cleaned as we were promised and had to wait couple hrs for it to finally be set up. We were also told that we would have round tables and they were rectangular. Which would have been fine if communicated but we brought decorations for round tables. The staffs camper area that was next to ours was a mess everything laying about and not taken care of. The beds in the campers were thin and might as well not had a mattress. Would not recommend this place for sleeping or wedding!!!!
We called them last minute to stay for 3 nights, and they were super accommodating! Gave us the very best RV in the best spot:). It was so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Beds were insanely comfy! They provided everything we needed as far as blankets towels dishes cookware. Felt very safe. It was extremely clean! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!!
