I can't in good faith give this RV park a good rating based on a serious incident & infraction of the Park's rules & the Park Manager's non-compliance of the rules. There us an aggressive dog on the premises who got loose without a leash. I was sitting outside with my leashed dog who was sleeping under my chair. The aggressive dog ran towards me & severely attacked my dog causing a bad puncture wound to his chest, damaging muscle & nerves. Park rules indicate aggressive dogs will be removed immediately as well as the owners. The aggressive dog has not been removed & poses a direct threat to adults children & other dogs. The owner of the dog works as an employee of the Park manager. Violation of the rules is not acceptable as blatantly demonstrated by this manager who is obviously protecting the employee & dog owner. The incident is documented with the Wharton Police Department. The manager has clearly demonstrated unethical behavior by not enforcing the written clear Park rules.

Great new campground! Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend!!! This resort has large concrete drive thru sites. Clean new facilities with a beautiful pool, new exercise room. It's a must if you are in the area.

The first week we stayed there it was just mediocre at best. Then after that initial first week we got yelled at randomly. We once walked the dog's through the outdoor sitting area when Diana aka; Karen came out of her rv yelling at us that there we're no dog's allowed there, we didn't know. Just day's later I saw her in that same spot petting another dog and I've seen other dog's there too. If she like's you or you are an employee of this rv park the rules definitely don't apply to you. She's rude, yelled at everyone about the pool, the grill, chairs, grass, people, anything and everything. It was like walking around on eggshells because i never knew when she was going to fly off the handle. I lost count of how many times that she would randomly say that she's corporate, (umm okay and?) She wouldn't ask you anything in a friendly manner or explain her reasoning. She would just approach us in a condescending way and order us about. She's not a good person or people person. Her husband drives around all day in a golf cart just writing down what everyone is doing then the wife will come talk to you. She doesn't know how to talk to people and she greatly exaggerates every little thing anyone does. I asked her to explain her reasoning once and nothing she said made any logical sense. I also fell while on the property twice, I sprained my right ankle walking on the grass because there was a hole underneath it and it took awhile to heal and to my knowledge nothing was done. Then during the freeze i slipped on the unsalted sidewalk in front of the office and she yelled at me about that as well instead of just being a normal human and asking if I was okay. There was an off leash dog at random times during the day when i would go for a walk.( there are leash laws) Some lady said that her small child was supposed to be watching the dog but they never really did. It would constantly try to antagonize me and my dog's while walking just minding our own business but some how I got in trouble for that too.

My family and I arrived the week right before Halloween and I have been extremely impressed with the location, the campsite, managers here at the location and the amenities. Since arriving we have received weekly/monthly updates about the weekly and monthly activities (a food truck that comes weekly, seasonal activities, a ladies Wien down night, football nights, etc). Halloween night was incredible with Camper by camper trick or treating and activities at the garden. If we have any issue, management is a text (literally) away and is always prompt. We have not been here long but I love that we can call it home for the next year. We love it here. Thank you Mrs Diane and team!!

My wife and I were traveling to south Texas. We stayed one night at this park. This is our second year stopping here and I know we will be back next year. It is by far one of the nicest parks we have stayed and we have traveled extensively in the mid-west and into the north-west as far as Seattle. There are level concrete pads throughout the park. Plenty of amenities, a beautiful pool (very clean), a fitness room along with an adult gathering area containing a sitting area with fire table, outdoor kitchen and playground for the kids. Clean spacious showers/restrooms. I also need to mention how helpful and gracious the management is, Diana answered all our questions about the area and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this park to anyone looking for an overnight stop or vacation spot. We enjoyed our short stay, we felt very welcome.
