First time RVer, and I wanted a stay near Houston TX. This RV park is small, cosy, quite, and right off the water. We stayed in parking spot C6, and with my front glass, the view was out onto the water with the palm trees.
Restrooms are clean and also have showers.
Laundry room is clean and nice. $3 a machine for wash.
The bad:
WiFi signal is 1 to 2 bars. Connects but then disconnects quickly. Speeds when it connected were 1.2 Mbps. You have to accept the WiFi use on the browser page, so this WiFi does not work for TVs.

The event center was closed. It could have potential if it were open cause the event center is next to the water with a great view.

For quietness, friendly neighbors, close to the sea wall and other locations in Galveston TX., I recommend this location for overnight weekend getaway.
Nice place, clean, laundry & bathroom facilities available. Was told the bathrooms were being redone shortly. Friendly staff. Close to our family whose home was under construction.
We stayed at his resort last year. This year we decided to stay again for a week as well. However, this year the restrooms were not cleaned. The showers were dirty. I understand they are old, and that’s ok. However not once did we see cleaners. The shower curtains need to be replaced. The location is great. The different projects going on were the same projects from last year. Other than that the stay was good.
What a great RV Park! The owners Sandy and Rusty are terrific. They are updating the park constantly. Wonder pool and hot tub. Lots of amenities like a Boat launch, boat storage, rental kayaks and bikes and etc. If your traveling through Galveston, TX with your RV or camper then this is a fantastic place to camp. It's so nice to be on the water of Offits Bayou. It's right off 61st street close to everything in Galveston. Plus they have some campers for rent too. They rent short term and long term. Great for traveling nurses. Thank you for everything. We have enjoyed our stay and wishing it could be longer. However, my contract has ended and it's time to move on. We will definitely be back. Thank you again.
I’m here still and after 12 days I have nothing bad to say I’m really enjoying the big pool it’s a little warm but it’s 101 out . Bathrooms are fine not the best but my rv has a great one . Water access is the best . Staff is really great even the maintenance people talk to you kindly . I can’t wait to come back this place is pretty nice
