The Caney Creek Recreation Area is located on the 114,000 acre Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The area provides boat access and primitive camp sites. This is a PACK IT IN/PACK IT OUT site. Directions
From Zavalla, travel 6 miles on Highway 63 east; turn left on FM 2743 for 6 miles; then left (northeast) on Forest Service Road 336 for 1 mile.
