Excellent marina with exceptional views of Lake Sam Rayburn, even from the front porch of the cabins. My dog has never been happier.
The views in this park are beautiful! The owner is exceedingly accommodating and personable! We visit a great many RV parks but this one really stands out.
Stayed this weekend Friday thru today Labor Day2023! Absolutely beautiful and peaceful! Trash pick up could be better, trash cans were overflowing and the website stated they had bait and a bait shop! That was incorrect! No bait shop at all! Website needs to be updated asap before someone else expects there to be bait available. Great fishing, super peaceful atmosphere and awesome people everywhere! We enjoyed our stay, having bait would’ve increased our fishing successes!
My family lived on this lake for 10 yrs ... We spent every waking possible moment we could here. Friends and family knew if we weren't home go look at the lake... Good honest people live in amd around this area and most will take the shirt off thier own back to give to you if you needed it! Absolutely a wonderful place to raise a family or retire!!
This is the best most beautiful park on Lake Sam Rayburn! The staff is incredibly friendly, the park is clean and quiet and the views are breath taking! Tent sites, rv sites and big Beautiful log cabins! I highly recommend you stay at Shirley Creek!
