We found this park on Passport America, it had good reviews so we thought we'd try it. Very nice RV park in San Benito, TX. We're using it as a jump off point to visit S. Padre Island (Beaches and Laguna Atascosa) & Port Isabella (Lighthouse), Brownsville (Gladys Porter Zoo), and McAllen (National Butterfly Center). The park has some long term residents but plenty of open spaces. Electric, water, & sewer, wireless internet, and on site security. There's a recreation room with showers and laundry facilities. The rec hall has a lending library and kitchen facilities for group events, outdoor shuffle board and bbq pits. The only sounds I hear are Bob-white quail and mockingbirds. It is pet friendly. This was a great find.

As we pulled in, I was a little worried. There were many permanent older model mobile homes & RVs there. Everyone was surprised we only planned to stay a few nights! The drive way is narrow. The manager had to ask someone to move his truck so that we could pull our 43' 5th wheel around a corner! There's a clubhouse, but no other amenities. Folks were very friendly. Generally a quiet place.

The Pan American Mobile Home & RV Park has made numerous changes to the establishment to make it more peaceful, safe and overall more enticing to residents and/or visitors. The security has been upgraded to a 24 hour park surveillance system to detour unwelcome guests for over all piece of mind. Additionally, to minimize confusion in the traffic lanes "STOP" signs have been displayed to ensure right of ways, landscaping is kept up on a weekly basis to keep a trimmed and clean appearance, along with tenants and/or visitors are encouraged to keep their lots clean & tidy for an overall relaxed environment, much more improvements have been implemented, Come on down south visit.
