Soooooo it's Thousand Trails.. Enough said right?

We've been Boondocking for the past 6 months so needless to say a campground right about now with a pool (Too Cold) and a Jacuzzi (That works, and is HOT 🥵) is like the Taj Mahal at this moment!

The park needs updating as most TT's do, however it's a very clean park and maintained to like a wilderness setting. Extremely quiet with tons of deer, even some 12 point buck will approach allowing you to feed them, which we love ❤️

Laundry was great. Clean and newer commercial machines. They have a new bathhouse, didn't use it but peeked and looked great to me.

Pool area is clean as a whistle but very very basic.

Don't drive these roads with your mouth open and your tongue sticking out cause you'll lose your tongue but the roads get you to where you need to go, right...

The activity center has everything you could imagine. Very clean and it's huge packed with all the activities kids and adults would enjoy.

I'm giving it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because it's well managed and the staff are great everything works, it's like 40 mins from San Antonio and everything you could ever need, oh and they accept Amazon packages 😊

This is an amazing park. It's big beautiful and even though the lake is dry it's fun to explore. The sunsets are beautiful here and the deer are all over the place and love to just stop by and say hi and keep on going lol. There are plenty of beautiful trails to explore as well! I would give it 5 stars but they need to do an abundance of tree trimming. Trim trees at sites and on the roads through and to the sites. They are starting to do updates on the bath houses, so that's a plus. There is a historical Spettle house there and a cool old barn!! We took some great pictures!! They do need to Dr junk the old home on the outside at least and fix the broken windows and doors to keep up the historical value of the home as much as possible. Definitely a place kids and families as well as couples can enjoy!!

This Is a Thousand Trails RV/Tent/Cabins campground. We camped with our travel trailer in campsite F-48. I was able to park level from side to side without any levelling blocks. Lots of deer and they were interesting to watch during rut and mating season. Facilities were nice and clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely will be returning.

Took the family to Thousand Trails Lake Medina for the 1st time over New Years. Very quiet and cozy place that feels like home. We enjoyed the activities around the camp grounds and loved seeing all the wild life. The team in the office (Bill and Mary Kate-manager) are amazing and very friendly. Bill had great recommendations on everything from what to do within the park to things to do out and about in the community. As we were leaving on what was supposed to be our last day, one of the leaf springs broke on our travel trailer. Mary Kate and the team were very understanding and accommodating and allowed us to leave the trailer in a closed RV slip so we could make it back home for work. It took a little time to get all the parts and a mechanic out to repair and the team at TT was very helpful with getting the mechanics the info they needed.

Great place and great people. We will definitely be back!!

Nice park located in Texas Hill Country. Big space with walking trails, pool mini golf and plenty of other activities. Beautiful sunsets over what used to be Lake Medina, unfortunately the lake is dry now for about 2 years. There are a lot of RV spots here some with full hookups some not, and some of them are more leveled than others. Some spots stay wet after rain for a long time. We enjoyed our stay here quiet and peaceful, a lot of wildlife to observe, deer came right to the RV, birds, fox and bunnies. People that work here put a lot of effort to keep the place nice and campers happy. There is a calendar with activities, and the super bowl party was fun.
