From jct US 281 & FM 1431: Go 3-1/4 mi W on Hwy 1431, then 2-1/4 mi S on Wirtz Dam Rd.
So, we went there and we spend 2 days in The Cabin , which is the only one right at the water and with beautiful deck and view to the Lake in front of the door!!! 👍It's very clean inside and everything you need is just there, only blankets, sheets, pillows and towels have to be brought up there!! Very romantic and quiet , wonderful getaway 💓 for Couples at any Ages, with or without Kids ... and for those with Kids they can enjoy their own little swimming areas in the Lake separated from the deeper Water 💦!! 😉We loved it so much that we reserved this Cabin for another Visit in July after Independence Day , where it was already booked on weekends, but we decided to visit during the weekdays as long the children still have Summer Vacation and we are taking our grandchild/en for that Visit!! Lady in the Office very nice and friendly!! Can't wait to visit again 😺😍
This is beautiful location that we have come to once a year for several years. It’s more expensive but we’ve always felt it was worth it.
However, this will be our last trip!
We booked 2 adjacent sites months ago and when we arrived last night our friends are on the opposite side of the park. The general response this morning was that’s too bad. We’re full. And they said we’re full for next year too!
They did not tell us when we booked that we wouldn’t be together, which is the point of camping with our friends.
They absolutely DO NOT care about the customer!
My fiancé and I stayed here for 4 days in the beginning of July and enjoyed the park! The staff were very friendly and accommodated our 40ft trailer without issue and pointed out great attractions to check out around Marble Falls. We also loved the large rock for watching sunsets! If we are passing through Marble Falls again we will stay here again! 😁
I made reservations online. I canceled my March reservation today in January, do to starting a new job and not having the available time off. I was told I would not receive my $75 deposit back because the reservation was made online. Evedintally, there was an obscure statement to that when I scheduled the reservation. I asked the call taker if an exception could be made, and I was told, "No." I feel a bit screwed over. So buyer beware, don't schedule an RV spot with Sunset Point unless you can definitely make the date. I am very dissatisfied, and I will not visit Sunset Point in the future, which could potentially cost them thousands of dollars in the future because I do love to camp. I also have a group of other RV enthusiasts who camp with me on a regular basis, your loss.
Setting is very nice. Staff and operation very poor. GUESTS BEWARE……3 friends stayed in premium sites. Massive mix up on charges/overcharges. They put one of the parties email on all reservations and though charges for ours was correct, friends was all messed up. Instead of leaving ours alone she canceled all charges then recharged all parties. Then the charges were improper. Called on phone and she promised to give a $21 credit but did not. Only gave $5…..
