Upon arrival you feel like you’re entering a country club. You drive about a 1/4 mile on a road that needs a little repair to the lodge that is very nice and inside is beautiful. We were greeted by two very friendly ladies who clearly enjoy their job.

To get to the RV park you pass about a dozen very cute and inviting cabins, as well as a really nice pool.

We paid a little extra to have a covered patio area but the view wasn’t what we were hoping for.

The reason I’m rating lower than a five star is several reasons. The road is a little bumpy, the full time residences aren’t as organized as perhaps they could be. On the first day we heard nonstop barking dogs that got old very quickly.

We sat on our covered patio to look at a collection of items that really should be in storage. It really took away from sitting outside to enjoy what otherwise would be a beautiful view.

My suggestion maybe provide full time residence with a small storage area or small shed to help them organize the limited storage their RV provides.

Camped with a group of friends for Labor Day weekend. Have camped at this resort a few years ago but was disappointed this time. The grass hadn’t been mowed at the RV sites nor the walking path to the river. The road coming into the resort hasn’t been maintained in quite some time. The pool was overflowing, had leaves all in the bottom and had algae starting to grow. Went to the office on Sunday to report the water overflowing but the place was locked down with cable locks like a prison. Really disappointed this time. This is probably why the RV resort wasn’t full on a holiday weekend.

This campground could easily be a 5 star with just a little TLC. The swimming pool is beautiful.

It is a great place to relax. The park itself is widespread with a playground for the kiddos, event area for big parties, and cute little cabins. The pool was nice and cool. The RV sites had plenty of space around. The service was great and very helpful.
