Loved the park, Joe the maintenance man was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again
If you love to play the game where you turn off all the lights in your RV except the bathroom then try to kill all the giant man eating mosquitoes then this is the place for you!! I’m pretty crazy about quick in and outs and keeping the door closed, to no avail here.
We stayed up by the office so maybe the mosquitoes are better closer to the water where there is a better breeze? Deep woods off didn’t touch it. We are all leaving covered in bites, and I wouldn’t even let the kids outside the last day bc they have 20+ bites. We spent 4 days before this at Twin Shores and didn’t see a mosquito once. Oh, the ear wigs are out of control here too. I shook the wheel chalks out when we pulled out and dozens fell out - but I also killed a few in the RV. The neighbor yelled out, “The bugs here are insane, right?!” Understatement.
The pool is not usable bc it’s too small for the campground. It was PACKED every day.
Laundry room was nice and the workers in the office were fantastic. Bathrooms - as long as you spend 5 min killing mosquitoes you could enjoy a hot shower (for free). We are so glad it’s time to leave.
The perfect camp host! Very friendly and had great suggestions for things to do in the area.
We just needed a place to rest on our trip home and this place was wonderful. Quiet and clean and with several amenities. You can tell they take pride in it. We got a camping cabin and brought our own sheets and pillows. Merry was very nice and they helped us even with a last-minute booking and after hours arrival. Will definitely stay again if we're in town.
Best place to say in North Austin... close to everything yet away enough to get some quiet. Great dog run and the best service ever. Super nice people and always going the extra mile to make sure your stay is perfect. We won't stay anywhere else. :)
