Lakewood RV Resort is located in Hendersonville, NC, just 30 minutes south of Asheville and about an hour away from Smoky Mountain National Park. We built our RV resort with recreational vehicle lovers in mind, offering extensive facilities and everything else you could want to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. We are a tranquil, quiet haven, with the small town convenience, charm and fun of Hendersonville nearby. All in all, Lakewood is absolutely a perfect destination for your next RV trip.
From jct US 64 & I-26: Go 3-1/2 mi SE on I-26 to exit 53, then 1/4 mi E on Upward Rd, then 1/4 mi N on Ballenger Rd.
The location was perfect for going to Flat Rock, Hendersonville and Asheville! The campground was very nice. Only thing I didn’t like was that you can’t have a campfire. They do have propane fireplaces.
Very nice well maintained park. Big rig friendly sites are not long enough to park both you rig and truck in a tandem manner. Additionally they are a bit close together.
This resort is fantastic! The people are super friendly and accommodating. The resort is quiet and peaceful. We will be back!
Very nice resort. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Fun lil putt putt. Easy in and out. Loved the old neighborhood and all the beautiful landscaping.
Will NEVER go back! Treated so rudely at a Thanksgiving potluck. Brought food and our table was called last while the staff let all the campground "no food" walkins to eat before us. ALL food was gone when our table was called. Nobody from the campground cared. No place to get food afterwards on a holiday. My money will go to the other campgrounds in the area.
