From I-90 take Exit61 for 5.5mi to SD79 S, take SD79 S south 15.5mi to Hearland RV Park & Cabins at mile marker #59, just past intersect of Hwy 79 & Hwy 36. Heartland RV is gateway to everything Black Hills; Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Monument & all best attractions in the Black Hills are just a short drive away. Best Base Camp to see everything in Black Hills
Wonderful staff, beautiful park, easy in/out highway. Wish the event center had been open, that would have put this over the top awesome. Very clean & well maintained. Nice and quiet at night. Easy pull-thru sites, although ours was just a bit out of level. This park is going on our favorites list. We will return for a longer stay!
We enjoyed staying at the campground for the summer. It is convenient to Rapid City, Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park and everything that we wanted to explore in the area. The staff was Great! The grounds were clean and well taken care of. The restrooms and laundry rooms were clean. Also, the Breakfast and Dinner were Great at the event center.
We had a Great Summer!
