Directions

If you are coming from Denver area or I25, it is better if you take the Lusk Exit off the interstate, which is Hwy 18, when you get through Lusk, you will come up to Hwy 85. Turn left, there, then that will take you to Hwy 16 in Newcastle, WY. Most directions say to go through Edgemont but although that is a little shorter, it is has more hills and curves. Turn right on Hwy 16 , you will go past Jewel Cave, then we will be the next campground you see on the right.

If you are coming from the East on I90, you want to take exit 61 off the Interstate which will become Truck 16. Stay on that road until you get to Hwy 16. Turn left and you need to stay to the right and go through Hill City to Custer. When you get in Custer, turn right at the first stop light you come to and we will be located on the Left.

If you are coming up from the south you will be on 385. When you come to the first stoplight you will need to turn left and we are 3.5 miles on the left.

If you need any further help, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-346-4383 or on your cell phone 605-673-2464 and we would be glad to help you.

Lovely RV park and campground just outside of Custer. Great access to all the famous sites of the Black Hills. Campground had good tree cover, sites had comfortable space between them. Fun Playground and pool for the kids and a fenced in off leash area for the dog.

Staff were friendly and rates were very reasonable, would definitely come back!

I had an RV campsite with electric and water. It was off-season, so there were no services & the pools were closed. Easy convenient location for everything. I needed to do, good shade, grass, picnic tables and fire pits. Staff was friendly and took me around a golf cart to choose my campsite.

Spent 3 great nights here in our RV trailer. Very convenient to major nearby attractions. Loved the wooded sites without being on top of neighbors. Will definitely come back here. Highly recommend Beaver Lake Campground.

We had a great time here, we travel with our dogs and they have a dog park. It was quiet, showers were nice. Beautiful views. And I got to love on Shimmer and her baby sister. Thanks for the great time!!!! The Whalen Family Spot 84
