I wish I could say good things about this campground because it really is a cool campground. Unfortunately, the way it's being ran is terrible. First, I booked 2 full hook up sites for our friends and our family. We arrived to find out that we did not have full hook ups. They told me it was a "computer error" and offered no apology or compensation. They said "it has been happening a lot lately". So I am a business owner, wouldn't you think that if it's been "happening a lot", you would figure out the problem?
Secondly, we extended our stay by one night. We went up to the office and paid for the extra night. On the last day, we moved to our spot, got all set up and a guy drives up and says, "I'm supposed to be in this spot". Apparently, they double booked our spot, so we had to move to a different spot again. Again, NO apology from the manager (who was standing right there in the office) or compensation for our troubles.
Like I said, I wish I could say good things, but I just cannot. Someone needs to buy this place and run it correctly. I'd be interested! :)
It was a great camp ground. Lots of fun stuff to do. There was a wasp next on the window screen and slight tears on the window. So they kept getting in. We ask if it could be removed. We were there 3 nights no one ever came. My husband on noght tqo finally took care of it, because it was right next to where the kids were sleeping
