Spokane Creek sits in a valley on 24 picturesque acres just 7 miles south of Keystone.

In the town of Keystone take a left at the stop light onto Hwy 40. Go approximately 3 miles, turn right onto Playhouse Road, go to the end (approx. 4 miles). Turn left onto US 16A also known as Iron Mountain Road. Spokane Creek is a half a mile on the right.
We vacationed here for 5 days at the end of July and it was the most beautiful place I could have ever camped at. This place has lots of trees surrounding it, a cute little brook and pond that we’re maintained. The temperature was perfect at the higher elevation from which we left at! Literally the best little hideaway campgrounds we could ever have found!
The shop is really neat and the food was excellent! That breakfast pizza still has us talking almost a month later! We bought two coffee mugs and they are quality!
I also love that there was a full bathroom/shower facility with a laundry room. I know camping typical means “roughing it” but I’m totally a fan of still being able to be clean and have fresh clothes to put on and they really do good work to keep everything in great working order!
Oh and the GPS does take you all the way to them as long as you have it going before you get to Keystone. Otherwise, Iron Mountain Road and Playhouse Road are super fun! Lots of twists and curves!!!
My husband and I stayed here for the first time during Sturgis Bike Week. Our cabin (#8) was perfect for us! We had everything we needed! The laundry was close by and the store & Cafe was top notch!! The service was impeccable, the coffee was FANTASTIC, and the food was delicious! We had breakfast there every morning. The location was everything we expected it to be...quiet, peaceful and close to everything we wanted to do and see. We would definitely recommend this place and we will be back!!!!
Beautiful and quiet. I loved the playground that was available for my toddler to play on. There is no cell service to their WiFi was available and you could get it in most parts of the campground. It was nice how close we were to Mount Rushmore. We had a fun, beautiful drive to the destination.
Definitely recommend staying here!
We loved this campground! The owners and staff were very friendly and genuine. They were helpful with different area attractions, drives, and hikes. My kids loved playing mini golf and fishing in the trout pond. We were able to see a fox and deer right at the campground. The hike to the Old Ghost Town was really neat and it was like a treasure hunt to find all the old buildings. The new campground shower house was done very well and the cafe was nice. Make sure to get a cinnamon roll in the cafe...delicious!
