Heritage Village Campground, in Custer South Dakota, offers great views of Crazy Horse Memorial. Enjoy all that the Black Hills has to offer, from Mount Rushmore to museums and family fun attractions, during your time with them.
We stay at this tiny campground every summer. Dirt and gravel. Small spaces. We do fit in our 40 ft. Coach. No amenities other than a small laundry and bath. Not kid friendly. An excellent hub for area touring. Close to Custer and food.
Heritage Village Campground is in a central location located next door to the Crazy Horse Memorial and within easy driving distance of Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave National Park, Deadwood and Jewel Caves. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and the RVers are also friendly. We found it the perfect place to stay during our visit to Custer. Check out the Purple Pie Place for lunch and delicious pie and Custer Wolf for a tasty dinner.
The cabin is like a wooden tent, with 2 beds. Has electricity but no water.( inside cabin). No bathroom either, but we had a porta potty. You bring ice chest, stove, etc. everything you would bring for tent camping.
Very reasonable rate.
Beautiful view.
Great location.
Bath house and laundry are CLEAN!
Friendly hosts!
