My husband and I had to come here from Mississippi to help move a close friend’s RV after his mother passed away. We began closing the RV up and and getting it road ready and double checking all safety precautions around 1 or 2pm (daytime still). Around 7:30ish (now dark out) and about to head out on the road home, the manager lady comes down to where my friend and I are standing and says “several people have called me and said that someone is loading up and skipping out in the middle of the night and I don’t feel well. I’ve been sick past couple of days and right now I’m running a fever of 102* and you still owe money for the electricity bill that hasn’t come in yet”

First of all lady, you’ve known about him needing to move due to his mother passing away, I’ve overheard the conversations between you and him.

Secondly, 7:30pm is HARDLY the middle of the night. And it’s not “skipping out when his lot rent is paid AND YOU’VE KNOWN ABOUT THIS.

Thirdly, we’ve been here closing up the RV and hooking it up for the past 5ish hours, get real.

Fourthly, and most importantly- you are really so concerned about a measly $50 something light bill that you had the NERVE to come down here and stand within inches of me coughing breathing and admitting that you’re sick, have been sick and running a 102* fever???

I HAVE AN AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE AND A SNEEZE CAN TAKE ME OUT FOR 2 WEEKS.

HOW DARE YOU.

Way to show your class and professionalism.

You disgust me.

**Edited to add in response to their reply-**

You claiming that he owes more than $500 is hilarious. I personally took him to pay his rent last month AND I was standing right next to her and heard the entire conversation as to why she was there, SICK WITH A FEVER. It was because she was wanting money for this months light bill that has not come in yet. I’ve heard from SEVERAL people who have stayed there or are staying and that woman would definitely NOT allow anyone to become a month + on rent. She’ll chase down $.50😅

Oh and also, I didn’t know that y’all were part of the family and know the time and day of when she passed. Just because you talked to her a week or more ago, doesn’t mean she didn’t pass since then. You obviously have no clue of the state of her health or anything at for that matter. (& i like how the part of her KNOWINGLY is sick with a fever, goes around to different tenants coughing and breathing spreading her disgusting germs, conducting business like just another day, was just skipped over and ignored)

Very unprofessional office personnel. I heard the office personnel, Holly, outside discussing a tenants business with another tenant. Holly, also approached a tensnt from the parking lot by yelling at her, in front of a tenant, in regards to a situation. Either way, things need to be handled with respect, maturity, and professionalism. This is a business. You do not yell at someone like a child ever. And, a TEXT MESSAGE is not PROPER, you do not give notice in text. All persons owning a motorcycle should have gotten this notice via written or typed paperwork. There are some legalities here that should not be occuring. Then, to tell people you're going to evict them because of this is wrong. They pay rent just like everyone else, they can drive what they wish, and no one was taunting her just because they passed by her trailer 3x( maybe they forgot something at home), supposedly. Lady, you are just looking for reason to have drama. This place doesn't care that you may not be able to drive your other vehicle and you own a motorcycle, no matter what time it is day or night they frown upon them because of shift workers, and they tell you who you can and cannot have visit you if they ride bikes too. There are also cats around the office that stay in the guest shower area, well there is no litter box and there were feces on the floor in the kitchen area last week. It smells of cat and urine in there too. We have to make sure our dogs are contained, and get barked at even if they accidentally got out and were immediately retrieved. Contain your cats, everyone does not care for them. Other than that, the place is decent in comparison to other rv parks in San Leon.

We are snowbirding in the South and have stayed at alot of RV parks in our travels. We picked this location because it was midway between Houston and Galveston where we were visiting/sightseeing. The location was fairly good for that purpose, and we were looking to save some money, so we picked this lower priced RV Park....$200 for the week....what a bargain! First off, let me just admit, you get what you pay for. The people in the office were very nice and made great suggestions for our time in the area. The site was right by the road so it was a bit noisy at times. No picnic tables. Bathrooms were dirty. No toilet paper holders. I used the shower, reluctantly, and the water was warm, but It's been the only park shower where I've definitely felt I needed to wear my sandles while showering. My husband wasn't able to use the men's shower- of the 2 showers, one had the faucet handles broken and the other would not turn on more than a trickle. None of the bathrooms were ADA compliant and the office, laundry, and bathroom/showers were only accessible by steps.
