Located 18 miles west of Cody, WY on the Yellowstone Park Hwy or 32 miles east of the east Yellowstone entrance.
A great place to stay with nice rooms and handmade furniture. Located just a half-hour drive from Cody, it offers stunning scenery and cozy, well-maintained cabins, although phone and data service may be lacking. Located on the east side of the east gate of Yellowstone Valley National Park, the site overlooks the North Fork Shoshone River. It's worth noting that the nearby town of Cody conveniently offers all the amenities of a large city.
Our stay was really nice and enjoyable! We we're blown away by the balcony view and the views of property. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was so polite and helpful and wore smiles the whole time. I know they have staffing problems in the past but we we're really grateful to show up and have the staff available for everything that was offered. The front desk helped anytime we needed anything. The breakfast options we're ok. My sons boiled eggs we're not good but he threw them away before telling me and letting me take them to get exchanged for better ones. The coffee options we're excellent. We didn't take avantage of dinner. My children enjoyed the hot tub. I liked that the property has fire pits for you to use their wood at their cost anytime. The only things that would have been better was the smell of the rooms we're funky somehow. We had to open doors and air it out. We had two rooms. One was suppose to come with a mountain view and it only had tiny windows. That was really disappointing especially after seeing our other room with a balcony view and the other rooms that we're available that they didn't give us. The laundry was really pricey. After being at another hotel and them charging $1 to $2 for loads and being charged $4 a load here that was really a kick in the gut. Lastly, the balcony flooring really needs to be fixed. It was very unsafe and I was afraid we would have an accident. I brought it up to the staff.
Location was 30 min from the east entrance to Yellowstone NP. Full hookups and clean power. We were here the last week of August and they clearly had started to wind down. The park was only about 25% full. It was clean and well maintained. We were in our motor home so we did not use the restrooms or laundry.
Stay away the last week they are open. Restaurant was only open for few hours on the evening, only cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. Hot tub was not open, pool look like it was being empty and my son cabin, TV volume didn't work. I could go on but won't. It was over price with only basic service
Stayed here for almost two weeks last summer during my cross country trip. Picked a spot along the back away from the road which cost a little more but was well worth it. The restaurant onsite was pretty good, the location was close enough to Yellowstone and Cody to enjoy both, plenty of good hiking trails outside of the National Park for my dogs to get out and enjoy nature with me, the owner even recommended a few really good ones. Overall, this was one of the best spots I stayed at all year!
