About Campground

Rural horse property with room to roam. Antelope are frequently here. Cherokee, my horse and Josie the big mule will come up and visit. The Vintage Camper is situated so expansive views of the Big Horn Mountains are at your sitting area. Convenient to historic Buffalo, Wy with good food and drink. This is a very historical area and the Gatchel Museum in Buffalo is a good visit. Also the Occidental Saloon is on main St., offers music and fun. Need a lake for dipping your feet...Lake Desmet is nearby right off I90. Devils Tower is less than 3 hr. away for a good days getaway. The National historical trail center in Casper is really excellent.

Excellent welcome from Mikal. Quiet place in the middle of the wilderness of Buffalo, Wy. Excellent American breakfast and black coffee. Shared bathroom for the shower. In the room there is a toilet and a sink. Clean room. Isolated but safe place. The house has two private rooms. One on the ground floor and one on the upper floor. Mikal also has beautiful horses. We had dinner with her in Buffalo eating excellent meat cooked medium rare. I recommend it. A place to visit to stay intimately in contact with nature. Compared to the Booking price. with we had to pay an extra $25 for cleaning (?) Even though this was not indicated anywhere, we gladly donated it out of courtesy of the owner.

Incredible establishment in the middle of the countryside, where when we woke up we had antelopes outside our window :)

The owner is truly endearing and takes great care of her guests. Great homemade breakfast as well as an amazing relaxation session which re-energized my wife.

Once again, we had a fabulous stay here! We used the pasture to park our RV and had a blast with Mikel and friends in Buffalo and at the ranch learning about Cobb homes and enjoying the beautiful surroundings and cooking out! Mikel has become part of our family and she has adopted us into her tribe as well. Her place has a peaceful and yet fun/friendly vibe that makes you not want to ever leave!!!!
