Such a beautiful campground! We stayed in the cabins for a little family get-together. Everything was so clean and quiet and the owners were very friendly and accomodating. The campground was only a short drive from the dinosaur track site, rockhounding, Shell Falls, and the mountains. There are so many great things to do in this area. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful wonderfull and beyond expectations. The cabins are homey and first class. If you want to explore the Big Horns stay at Shell Campgrounds and cabins. You will NOT be dissapointed! I cant wait to go back.

Quiet, clean and very cute. We stayed in a full cabin, which was a duplex, not a stand-alone. No one next door, so very quiet. The top bunk bed didn’t have a safety rail and that would be an issue for young children. Water pressure was phenomenal. Would stay here again.

We stayed in the bunkhouse cabin. It was very nice, clean, had a nice kitchenette to cook. Cute and nicely decorated. No noise. TV with roku. Recommendation is to have better lighting in the bathroom. And lighting over the table. It was a perfect place to stay as we traveled from Yellowstone to Mt Rushmore- about half way. And we were able to drive through the Bighorn National Forest which is right outside Shell.

The campground and cabin areas were well kept and clean. The self-check-in was convenient. The cabin was the perfect size for a couple and had a nice porch to sit on in the evening. The cabin looked relatively new, nicely decorated and very clean. We had an issue with the water heater and had trouble getting a hold of the management, but got things resolved pretty quickly afterward. It was a great place to stop for the night after exploring Shell Falls.
