From Buffalo, WY, take Hwy 16 west 13.4 miles to FSR 21. Turn left and go 0.5 miles to the campground sign.
We absolutely loved this little campground. The host was so nice and friendly and answered many questions that we and the kids had. The sites are densely wooded with pine. Lots of places to hang a hammock. We walked out our camper at 630am one morning to see a bull moose walking between our site and the next. There is a reservoir lake and some hiking trails nearby. There was a small rock outcropping that we enjoyed climbing with the kids right in the campground.
Beautiful! The lodgepole pines smell amazing! No cell signal, pit toilets are clean. Firewood available. Potable water located by toilets.
First time at tie hack campground. Site 5. Fantastic spot, well all sites look very inviting. Peg the campground host was very friendly and kept the campground clean. Fished tie hack, stream below the dam, and south fork. Decent experience. We will camp there again.
We've been camping there for 3 or 4 years and love it. It's one of my favorite places to camp. Restrooms are very clean. Camp host Peggy is fantastic.
Sites are well-spaced and wooded. Wonderful, friendly campground host who kept things clean and sanitized. Planned to stay 2 days, added on 4 more! Quick drive to the reservoir for fishing, kayaking, and hiking. Quiet during the week, a bit more chaotic over the weekend. Great jumping-off spot for Bighorn NF adventures. Will be back!
