Smaller than most developed sites in the big horns, this campground is quiet, scenic, and we'll maintained. We did see a few moose a few weeks ago. Access to fishing is fantastic.
Fantastic area and scenery. Some level sites for tents or pop ups. The trail to the cave is very steep and about 1/2 mile.
First time in years I have fished the north fork west of bear lodge over summer and fall. Beautiful and extensive fishery. Very nice trout caught and seen. Can be busy.
First time at tie hack campground. Site 5. Fantastic spot, well all sites look very inviting. Peg the campground host was very friendly and kept the campground clean. Fished tie hack, stream below the dam, and south fork. Decent experience. We will camp there again.
Spectacular scenery. Maybe we caught it at the right time of the year. Hiked down to the fishing in a couple spots. Waded as much as the conditions allowed. I experienced good fishing. Viewing the Red Wall on the way out was equally spectacular scenary.
