From jct of US 119 & US 422: Go 9-3/4 mi E on US 422.
Great place for family time. We stayed in a cabin, it had electricity and a microwave. The shared bathroom and shower area are very clean. The yurts have a full size refrigerator, stove top and a table and chairs also has an outside deck with a picnic table. Both the cabins and yurts have fire pits.
We had a beautiful day exploring the park. I absolutely adore the outdoor classroom. It's so amazing ♡ so much wildlife and foliage to immerse yourself in. It was raining quite a bit so we only took short trips out of the car, but I loved the scenery
Beautiful state park! Very clean and safe. Impressed with how clean restroom's are. Plenty of picnic table's to enjoy a relaxing day by the lake. Fun place to kayak or go to beach...
Finally went kayaking over the weekend. What a cool experience! If you've never gone. This is a great way to see if you like it. The water was nice, kayaks were great. My family and I shared a lot of laughs! We will definitely be back again.
We also stopped at the beach so our daughter could swim for a bit. They have a nice newer playground set next to the water, with new bathrooms and an outdoor shower. Convenient.
