Ravensburg State Park is in central Pennsylvania, Clinton County, on PA 880, eight miles southeast of Jersey Shore, or four miles north of Carroll, Exit 192 (old Exit 28) on I-80.
Beautiful, 78 acre state park that is surrounded by state forest land. There are many recreational activities to be found while visiting this state park. A nice spot to have a picnic or a larger family outing at a pavilion and take use of the play field area. There is good trout fishing in the stream when weather permits. A tent only seasonal campground with nice restroom and shower facilities can be found at the northern end of the park. The Mid State trail and several other trails start or traverse the park as well. All in all a wonderful place to spend time in the outdoors!
Nice park on a first come basis. They have an honor box and envelopes. Non electric sites, but flush toilets and a shower. You'll need that shower after hiking up 1000 steps!!!
First time. Campground closed for season. Will do 1000 steps trail next time. Thought we did a short rock scramble to high outcrop of large rocks and would take trail down. Didn't find trail. Restrooms were open but stinky. Small waterfall / dam near main road. Looks like some picnic shelters and a baseball field. Lots of dog walker locals.
