We have traveled all over pa and stayed in many many campgrounds. This is by far our favorite. It top notch.
We arrived late at night, the owner was more than accommodating to us.
He even got a fire going for us in the RAIN to keep bear away since we were in a tent. Never had better customer service. He was super friendly and helpful.
The campground is very well taken care of and the bathroom were immaculate!! They were so clean and very nice. We would definitely make the four hour trip to come back here.
They also have wifi through the whole campground.
THANK YOU AGAIN!!!! 😊
My husband and I booked with our grandson for the quiet. I sent an email saying we had to cancel, my husband was hurt at work and couldn't walk. They gave us their golf cart to help him get around. The weekend was great! So quiet I slept until 8:30 and haven't slept so well in years. Clean air, peaceful, beautiful site, and wonderful people around us. The bathrooms are beautiful, no shower shoes needed. Cabins are clean and maintained. Staff was wonderful. I can't wait to book another trip, staying more than 3 days next time. Thank you Doug and Brenna we had a wonderful weekend.
This was our best family vacation!! Beautiful, clean facilities. The stars are just amazing! On the morning we were leaving, 2 elk were outside our cabin!! So exciting and very memorable for all of us. This will be an annual trip for us. The owner is so friendly and helpful! He helped the kids call in the “fire spirits” to be sure we had the best campfire experience!
We had a wonderful experience at Austin Campground. Doug and his family are so nice and very accommodating! It is a smaller campground tucked away in a lovely, quiet valley. The sites were spacious and the bathrooms were spotless and beautiful. We went in the Fall when the leaves were painting the mountains a variety of colors! We visited Benezzette and the Lumber Museum. Will definitely be back again!
This was our first time staying at Austin campground and it certainly won’t be the last. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful this place is. It’s tucked away a mile off of the main road and it is just beautiful, peaceful well maintained and if I had to describe it in one word I would say it is heaven. The owner is AWESOME! Always friendly and asking if we need anything. Him and his son take very very good care of the campground. The cabins are gorgeous and the main bath house is stunning. You couldn’t find a nicer campground than this one and we are already planning another trip to it. Thanks to the owner for an awesome time. We miss you already.
