Hiked the West Rim Trail from Rattlesnake Rock to the Colton Road north terminus. Trail was well marked. Maintenance in general was good, downed trees in a few places required a workaround. One muddy section had log slices as stepping stones, these were very slick, so proceed with caution. Check the map for stream crossings, there was one section we did not carry enough water.
Plenty of easy & difficult hiking trails & walking paths with views of the canyon. This park seems less visited than Leonard Harrison on the opposite rim. Bonus, road to the park is flanked by Tioga State Forest lands with additional hiking trails, one is handicapped accessible. And being on forest land, dogs may be walked off leash there.
Also: has CCC-built incinerator just like at Leonard Harrison - visible from Colton Point Rd.
