As a family of 7, I was nervous to go camping. Taking 5 kids anywhere is very difficult. Arriving at this campground, I loved the cabin. It was beautiful. That being said- the assistant manager gave me the worst experience I have ever had. Not just camping but in my life. I have never been treated with such disrespect and disregard as I was tonight. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Waste of money, waste of time and a life experience I could have done without. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

My friends and family have been going here for years and this weekend will absolutely be our last time. They have been purchased by a new group and they have completely ruined the campground. I was reading through the recent reviews and it shows we are not the only one that have experienced this change for the worst. And seeing their generic responses show that they do not care about their guests and will not change. When we arrived, all of the people that went with us received different prices than what they were told when we made the reservations. Not only were they different from the promised rate, we all had different totals but we stayed in the same location for the same amount of time. We also had a few others that wanted to book to stay with all of us, and they were told they were completely sold out. We counted 10+ spots that were vacant the entire time we were there (including 3 directly next to our group). Hopefully someone buys them that actually knows what they’re doing, because this owner group is absolute trash. Ruined one of our favorite campgrounds and lost many guests.

I rented a lot for 1 year at Appalachian Campground. The fee are 4500.00+ a year. Also no security, my LOCKED SHED was stolen from my lot. between the months sep.2023 to feb.2024.....not worth the headache

Maintenance was on my lot in November 2023. The ownership of this Campground are scammers. Beware!! Sold my camper September 2023. I told them I would move my shed before March 2024. They take your money and property. And nothing is done to them.

Bill was great in our time of need. We had rented a cabin years ago and had a great time even then.

This time we needed a place to stay for the night with our 5th wheel. Bill was extremely fast at accommodating us.He and his wife were saviors for us and extremely kind and friendly! God Bless Them!

We will definitely be back for a longer period of time!

We enjoy a seasonal campsite there for many years. Just far enough away from home, so you feel you went somewhere special for the weekend. We highly recommend the campground. Prices are rising for everything, Appalachain is a good family deal.
