We love the Moraine State Park Cabins. We come here every year. Clean, spacious, modern, lake front. Each cabin has its own dock too. Great family camping!! And the price is right!! You couldn’t find a better place to relax in Western Pennsylvania
Love the park and trails! I just wish the cabins had bigger beds and not only double.
Excellent cabins, clean and private. Note: BYO linens, kitchen supplies (silverware, dishes, cups, pots, pans, paper towels etc.), bathroom supplies (they provide TP only), and anything else you may need. The baseboard heaters worked fantastically and the shower was hot.
This was our 2nd year here in the modern cabins. I love this state park, it is quiet, well at least mid to late Oct.. Each cabin has its on boat dock to put kayaks or boats in the water, the views of the lake from the cabins are beautiful. Cabins are very clean, and nice with all amenities stove, microwave, and full size fridge. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is due to the fact our fridge stopped working and I called the office about 11 and called again at 2:30, nobody came. Luckily I had some very big cooler gel packs and we could get most everything in the freezer compartment. Maintenance came at 8 the next morning. Other than that we had a great 2nd stay!
Awesome park. Well kept up and clean. Everyone who works there are awesome. Beautiful scenery. Beautiful lake . Cabins are in great shape and well kept up. They do need more Cabins which would bring in more people. Biking and hiking trails are great. Bike retail available along with a boat ride around the lake.
