From jct I-90 & SR-19: Go 4-3/4 mi N on SR-19, then 1-1/4 mi E on US 20, then 1-3/4 mi N on East Ave, then 300 yds on W. Bayfront Pkwy, then 3/4 mi N on Port Access Rd.
I originally tried to get the popular Campground at the entrance to Presque Isle, but now that we're here and I've seen both, I'm so glad we are in Lampe. It's small but spacious, so much grassy space between sites. Just one loop of sites and each site has an extra wide paved parking area for your camper and vehicle. Building in the center has bathhouse and laundry. Cleanest laundry I've seen.
Absolutely the best location. We will definitely be back. Loved looking at all the wild life and the ships and boats coming through the harbor. Clean restrooms and showers. The only negative is no sewer hook up but they do have dump stations.
