A map is provided at check-in but the trails are not marked. The cabins are very small with small windows so not a lot of fresh air coming inside. Our experience would have been so much nicer if the people would have disciplined their children who rode bicycles with loud noises on them as in an electric bike but louder, up and down the main path to the restrooms and in front of the cabins the whole time there. This made our camping trip a terrible time so we left early. No park rangers were seen out the time there. There is fast food restaurants nearby but we used the provided fire pit beside our cabin.

Great park. We loved this place it isn't to far from us. We had no idea what to expect we find this place on by googling it. Daughter had a great time playing in the little playground they have. We walk threw the park along the bank of the lake. Beautiful lake. We would have loved to been able to go out on the lake but we didn't plan ahead (our bad). We found a little beach like area surrounded by a couple cabin-y type buildings. It had a camp crystal like vibe. Loved it. (I think it would be a great place to hold a Halloween monster bash!). They also had a working pay phone, I called the wife and pranked her with the "I can see you, I know what you're doing" creepy stalker guy call. We plan to back many times.

There is a decent trail that goes to the left of the lake but there are tougher trails that are 7 mi long so you need to be careful if you need to plan for hire elevations

The hiking trail is very serene and full of beautiful foliage/trees. Also, a great spot for mushroom hunting (not many edible ones though).
