From jct SR 309 & SR 313: Go 6 mi S on SR 309, then 1/4 mi S on SR 563, then 2-1/2 mi W on Ridge Valley Rd, then 100 yards N on Allentown Rd, then 2 mi W on Finland Rd, then 3/4 mi S on Camp Skymont Rd.
Had a great time. We didn't partake in any activities because I had so many fun camp meals planned for my kids. They had 60's night (60's outfits) this weekend. I wasn't there, but they were jammin! Maroon 5, Beyonce, 50 Cent, Halsey, some country songs, some old school songs, it sounded LIT! 😆 I accidentally blew up some hiding spots with the flashlight during a group of kids' Mission in Verdansk Manhunt game. My bad guys! 😇 This was such a relaxing trip. Great place to get away!! My little ones didn't want to leave 😔 But we will be back after the pool opens this weekend!! Already booked my next trip 👍🏽
UPDATE: This second trip was awesome too. My kids had so much fun at the pool. This time we mingled and talked with people and I must say, the vibe here is amazing. EVERYBODY waves hello, people are friendly, helpful, considerate. My tent camping neighbor went out of his way to help me with my campfire. He stuck around for about 30 mins digging out ashes, making teepees for the wood. Thanks Chris 👍🏽 My son was sitting on a pool lounger while I was in the water with my daughter. A bug flew on his chair and it scared him. Two ladies rushed over to him and swept away the bug and then waved to me, "He's alright!" I was so thankful not to have to get out of the pool with my daughter who was having a blast - swearing she could swim (with her floatie life jacket). 👍🏽 While standing outside the camp store, a man walked out with the most awesome looking plate of nachos. I said, "Wow!" when he walked past me. Do you know he went back inside and bought me a plate of nachos?! ❣️🥲 Standing outside my car in front of the camp store (literally just standing there) two different passers by stopped and asked me if I was okay or needed help. They treat people like family here! I am in love with this Campground ❤️❤️
This is home for me, I grew up at this campground my mom and dad had a permanent site. Then after i was grown and had grandchildren I chose another permanent site so for a few seasons i camped i took my grandkids did all the things that were for the campers. Bill and Kay are great hosts and although i am no longer a child I would still camp here again .
Had a blast with the family,all the staff were extremely friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. We enjoyed fishing, the tractor ride and of course our camp fire. Prices in the store were actually reasonable and not marked up to a crazy price. The only small thing I found was that they ask you to use barbless hooks when fishing, but they only sell ones with barbs in the store! We'll definitely be back for another weekend getaway 😁
We absolutely love Boulder Woods . It's a family atmosphere. All the campers are super friendly and helpful. The owners Bill and Kay are the best ,they make sure their guests are happy . The staff is great !! I love how they have the potluck meals and community fires with entertainment it brings everyone together . The playground and pools are great !! They are dog/ cat friendly .Kay is an animal lover .Best place I have ever camped and not too far from home .
