Very friendly quiet campground close to Adamstown Antiques and Shady Maple in Amish country. Beautiful pool, tennis courts, fully stocked camp store, ice cream, firewood, propane. Lots of weekend activities for young and old. Relax and enjoy your stay!

We arrived at our site 107. When we started to hook up utilities we noticed water hookup was on the opposite side of the camp site. We bring a standard 25ft hose to hook up water. We notified the owners that the water hookup is on the wrong side and the response was “ it is there it is just farther away from you, but you can buy a hose from our camp store” kinda seems like they advertise sites that are not set up appropriately. Neighbors also have a broken sewer pipe. Yikes!

Definitely a 5 star, if you love outdoors and enjoy nature this campground is your best place to go with all the different activities like horse back riding swimming, kayaking you can rent a cabin or have your own tent experience and feel safe. The staff are friendly and are up to par with keeping the grounds clean. Awesome place would recommend to everyone don't miss out

After reading others reviews we were 50/50 wanting to come here. Overall we had a great experience. We had guests come visit us as the campground as it is located near a lot of our friends/family. The campground was very clean, camp store was fully stocked, a lot of activities going on(a little pricy) over the weekend. Our campsite we loved. Large and lots of shade. Only downfalls were the playgrounds are very outdated and could use a face lift, and the firewood you have to buy here and it was still very wet and hard to burn. If you are looking for a place that is to come and relax this is the place. We will be back.

After a last minute decision to go camping for Labor Day weekend, Hickory Run was one of the few with available sites. Upon looking at their google reviews I questioned if this was even worth it as some of the reviews were quite scary. WELL….. form your own opinion! I have nothing but amazing things to say about this campground! From the initial call for booking (the VERY friendly girls in the office), to the facility, activities, grounds, lake, etc., it was great! A huge shout out to the girls working the office/store! Even at times that they were completely swamped, they had the most positive and helpful attitudes! I also spoke with the manager who was very kind and appreciated the positive feedback. Do yourself a favor and check it out! We will definitely be back!
