Extends through out the camping season. It includes holiday celebrations, pancake breakfasts, contests, various entertainment, etc. Non-denominational church service is scheduled for Sunday mornings. Dress is casual.
From jct SR-8 & SR-27: Go 4 mi S on SR-8, then 3/4 mi E on Jamison Rd, then 1/2 mi S on Shreve Rd.
Very nice looking campground and well located. However, maybe this just happened the weekend we stayed (our first visit), but a large group was camping together and they lacked simple campground etiquette. There were probably 30 people and kids together in 4-5 campers. Their fire was higher than the camper they congregated at, they were noisy well into the night way past the 10 PM quite time, they and their kids constantly ran and biked through our site as a short cut. One of their kids was outside screaming at 7 AM on Sunday morning. UGH! No consideration for other campers. Otherwise, the campground itself was nice and probably very peaceful during the week days.
The camp ground is an excellent choice for a family camping trip. This was the first time our annual family camping trip was at the Oil Creek Family Campground. There was 39 of us that attended. . Some camped in trailers, some rented trailers on the premises and some rented cabins. We were all happy with our accommodations. There are many amenities including a swimming pool, nature trail, catch and release fishing pond, and a recreation hall, etc. Oil Creek State Parkv(nice bike trail) is close by as is Titusville, a charming town. We all plan to return.
We really like Oil Creek family campground. We camp at least once a month there. It is a great place for families they have a playground, pool, maze, activities for kids, fireworks for the 4th and more. Very peaceful campground and the owners are nice.
We just went there to take a look around and see everything that this campground had to offer. It was very clean, had lots of activities for the kids and offered many amenities. We are definitely going to go camping there. The people were very friendly also.
