Very quiet and peaceful next to the creek. Only negatives are no laundry facilities and our site didn't have full hookups.

My fiance Melissa and I had a great time at uncle John's elk creek campground. We slept in a tent for 2 night's we loved it so peaceful. The owners John and Patty are amazing people so kind. The restrooms are nice and clean nice good hot water for showers. The fishing was great as well. We seen some wildlife animals. But what we love was waking up to Bald Eagle's in the morning got to see them as well right across the creek from our tent. We will be back next month uncle John we love it there

We had a great & comfortable stay in cabin 9. For the price I have not found better. Grounds are very well kept. Fridge and microwave was clean as was the rest of the cabin. And to top it off, the owners are very friendly and looking for any way to make your stay enjoyable.

The place was nice. It is not a 5 star hotel but it is also cheaper to stay at. I seen reviews calling uncle John creepy. Although is different, I would say he is just a very friendly person that loves to meet new people. He was very helpful in recommending different place to go while we we there.

Great stream side access. Close to fly shop and twisted elk brewing. Be polite to the older lady; she’s a force to be reckoned with. Electric access, but no water. Wear rubber boots in the bathroom.
