We have been coming to this state park for several years and stay in a cabin. The cabins are great. Very clean, updated, comfortable beds, fireplace, heat and ac, nice porch. I recommend the water view cabins. The park is quiet and small but nice boat facilities, fishing is great. Maybe not a lot for kids except one playground, hiking trails and if you are boating or fishing. Beautiful area and the town of Clarksville is cute. Go see the Prestwould Plantation and Kerr Dam.

Great place to camp. Very clean. This was me and my wife's first camping trip. Bathrooms and shower facilities were very clean.

Beautiful place. Love the history and culture. Make sure you visit the museum. I felt very safe camping overnight. I would for certain camp here again

Nice state park. Quite a few trails to explore. Plenty of parking and entrance points to the multi-use trail. Decided to run the Beaver Pond trail. It was a fairly wide trail that started out on a fire Rd and led to 2 separate loops. Not too many views and it wasn't terribly difficult.

Me and the hound dog did a night there on a whim. Great park. No crowds the last weekend the C campground was open. Nice hiking trails, not too strenuous. Will return for sure.
