My family had the best time at Jellystone Luray for one of their Halloween/Fall weekends!! The location is easy to get to and beautiful! The staff is incredibly friendly and engaged with our whole family, answered all of our questions with patience, and planned some really fun activities and events! We stayed in the most basic of the cabins and weren't super impressed, but it worked for a weekend. General maintenance- fixing loose/rotten boards on the mini golf course, updating the cabins, fixing the zip line, would have made it a 5-star review, but we did have a blast!

We have camped at Jellystone Luray 5 different times. They have all been good experiences and that is why we return. This last visit was a little disappointing. This was the first time visiting since we sold our camper and therefore we rented the Deluxe Loft Cabin. The cabin itself was spacious and accommodated our family of 5 but it needed work. The bathtub had a hole in the side. The siding was coming off in a few places which made it look run down. The pots and pans were not usable. They were non-stick and had scratches and the bottom was pealing off. In addition, the porch door wouldn't close which meant bugs could get in. Kind of defeated the purpose of having a screened in porch but we were camping so bugs were to be expected. The floors were very dirty and we could tell hadn't been mopped in a long time. The upstairs loft carpet was dusty and had food wrappers plus a water bottle left behind from the last campers. When I rent a place on vacation I don't want to have to clean it when we get there especially when we pay for a cleaning fee. The driveway at our cabin site #89 was too small to park a vehicle in. We had to park in a lot across the road. Just not super convenient but it worked. It did appear we were the only ones that had that issue. The other cabins had enough parking for at least one car.

The planned activities were good and the kids had a good time the first day. The bounce pillow is always a favorite and the mini golf was fun. The older kids played a round of night time laser tag but the second daytime one for the younger kids got rained out. Unfortunately we went on a weekend when a tropical storm moved into the area. Most of the activities were canceled due to that fact. Weather is certainly not the fault of the camp ground but we do wish they had planned or moved more activities inside.

All in all we would go back. Mainly because the previous visits were good. We will definitely pick a different cabin and hopefully go when there isn't a major storm rolling through.

This was our first venture into accommodations of this type with our family and we were not disappointment. The cabin was generously sized and had all the comforts of home and was a solid structure. Park equipment and amenities were in better condition than I would have guessed. The staff was sociable and we did not get thrown out when it was time to close the mini-golf for the night, they just came back a little later. The camp store was nice and it was convenient to be able to buy all the little last minute necessities. We will be back.

Last summer we went here with a huge group of families from church. We had the best time ever. Cabins are a hit or miss though because only half of the cabins are renovated. So if you get the one that’s not, it’s disastrous. We first stayed in the mid level cabin (forget the name) it was SO bad, very dim in the bathroom, super old structure with spider webs everywhere and the fridge was too loud I couldn’t sleep. Here’s where it gets amazing. The next morning I called front desk and told them the situation and they moved us to the premium cabin. What a night and day. It was brand new, so clean and had 1 bedroom and an upstairs attic like space where the kids could sleep with 2 big mattresses on the floor, awesome new kitchen everything was wonderful. In the end we had the best time bc of great service and their flexibility to let us move on our last night. If the premium cabins weren’t so expensive and didn’t have the 3 night min I’d stay here every time!

What a great park! We had a camper and thought the sites were all beautiful. Lots of trees, even got to hang up our hammock. We came in the middle of the week, so it was very peaceful. Convenient to the national park. Would absolutely recommend and stay again! All the amenities were a blast! We were thrilled that the mini golf, paddle boats, and golf carts were all still available this late in the season (we were there in October). What a great day.
