Well....Ill have to go back in the summer to give it a fair shot but this trip didn't go so well. Stepped in 3 separate piles of dog poop on my site setting up. We had the power go out overnight to the campground site. It was cold! Having to pay to rent a firepit for 20 bucks...didn't like that either. There was a very loud deisel maintenance truck that drove around in laps all night. No lights in the park made it dangerous for kids but ill admit, the darkness was nice too.
All in all....I think I'll try it again during warmer season to give it a fair review.
To correct Google, this is not a hotel. This is an awesome, fun, affordable, and well maintained RV Park. It does have beautiful equipped cabins, as well as primitive cabins. There are many planned activities, food, and they book awesome bands. Everyone that I met, who are staying here, are here for a good time. All are friendly and respectful. I have already booked two trips for next year. 😁
We will make the 3 hour trek instead of staying at our local corporate campgrounds! We have came back for the last 14 years and still one of our most favorite campgrounds! Employees are friendly, the campground has the homey feel you want all the while having 4 pools and plenty of lots. Convenient to the beach, biking and trolley.
maintenance on the grounds needs improvement. Not well lit. Guests leave their dog poop all over and everyone can care less. Trash that’s been in the same spot for month. Advertised Wi-Fi but must be next to the pole. Lots of draining issues. Attention to detail is lacking as well as work ethic. When the cat is away the mice will play
This campground is awesome! We stayed here in April while visiting family. It was our first big trip with the camper. People complain about the "air show" but really it wasn't bad and it was kind of cool to see the planes overhead. The campground is pretty centrally located for what we needed. We didn't have much interaction with staff, check in was done online with a printed parking pass. The covered pool provided a great activity for the family in April as well as this campground provides beach access parking which is a huge perk. We would definitely consider staying at this campground again.
