Stunning. Bald Cyprus Trail is so worth the entrance fee. Definitely take the time!! (Parking is $7 on weekdays, and $10 on weekends). Trail is moderately busy, and you can totally hear all the jets from the military base, but it's still incredibly peaceful. Turtles, lovely birds, and incredible swamp views. Lots of benches as well.

First Landing State Park was formerly called Seashore State Park. First Landing State Park is located on Shore Drive. Admission to the park is $7 per vehicle on weekdays and $10 on the weekends. The right side of Shore Drive is the beach access. The left side of Shore Drive has 20 miles walking, biking, and hiking trails. This is another one of Virginia Beach amazing parks. Many visitors fish, swim, camp, kayak, and boat at Fist Landing State Park. The employees are really friendly. The visitors information center is opened daily from 9 a.m - 5 p.m. The gift shop ,restrooms, and cafe is behind the visitors center. This is an amazing park πŸ•οΈπŸš΄πŸ»πŸ–οΈπŸŠπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸš£πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

My husband and I and our 2 pups stayed in cabin 10 for the weekend. We had a great time and the weather was perfect for late October. The staff that we encountered were very friendly. Trails were well marked. Beautiful sunsets right on the beach.
