My mom and I were in a pinch on our way to North Carolina from Canada. We needed a cheap place to stay for the night and this was the only available spot nearby. The manager Rob was incredibly patient and understanding of our situation as we were scratching pennies up to pay for the campground since the WIFI was down and we couldn't pay with card. He personally drove us to our campsite and was welcoming from beginning to end. The facilities were very nice and clean. The pool was great and it seems like a great place to camp with your family for a few days. Thank you Rob!

Loved the friendly, helpful staff. Appreciated the communication and easy check in process. Very clean rooms and absolutely ADORED the presentation in little details, like entering a quality Airbnb. A few of the best little surprises were the variety of TV channels and the Bible in the bedroom. Had an overall peaceful, excellent stay and will be coming back when visiting the area.

Ne warned that the pull out couch and bunk beds are extremely uncomfortable. You feel everything in the couch mattress and the bunks are hard as a rock. You also aren't allowed to cook in the cabins, so be prepared for only cold food or grilled food unless you go out to eat all the time. Other than those things, it was great. The cabin had a porch that was gated, so we were able to enjoy and the kids loved the playground and jump pillow thing.

We had such an amazing experience at this campground. We were here for an event with our family and stayed in a gorgeous deluxe cabin on site. The entire campground is well-maintained, clean and very family friendly. There were so many ways to entertain the children from a gorgeous, wide, open field with gaga ball and other activities, a wonderful playground with a swing, zip line and jumping pillows for Littles and bigger kids. They even had a mining activity at the campground for kids to mine for gems as well as a pool that was still open even in October! Every single cabin had its own fire pit and cute place to sit. The people were friendly, and it was such a pleasant wonderful experience. The cabin was very clean, extremely comfortable and perfect for a family of four. We had such a marvelous experience that we are definitely planning our trip back. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will be back! Highly Recommend!

This review is for the EXTENDED stay RV sites! My husband and I lived in the campground for nearly 6 months. It was very quiet, staff was friendly, we loved our neighbors, and the nearness to the highway and downtown Williamsburg. That’s about the sum of the positives. The RV sites seemed like they were in a swamp. Especially during the rainy season. We know of several guests that asked for gravel to be added to the swampy sites which was never provided. When guests placed pavers or rugs to manage the mud, they were reprimanded and asked them to be removed. The sites are way overpriced for what they were worth. The bathrooms, dog park, pool, and laundry room could use more routine upkeep. I wish management would just put some money from their 5-star main campground into the extended stay sites because it could be so much more than what it is now.
