This is a borderline 3 or 4 star rating. the real issue here is that whoever designed the layout in the full hookup RV section obviously never camped themselves. If you're in an odd-numbered campsite do you have to have extensions on your potable water and for your electric and maybe the sewer in order to connect. notice when they close up picture I installed how the sewer and the power and water connections are on opposite side of the camper.

4/14/2023:. Everything I listed above is still true, but if you get an even number it's great. Also now that everything has reopened the microbrewery and distillery is great along with the overall base camp hang out area.

Landed here because the wineries closed early. Recommendation from our server for Salmon and the Pastrami Sandwich were spot on! The lagar always tastes better at the brewery out of the tap! We came back the next night and had an Old Fashion with their bourbon to wash down the nachos! Yum! The ambiance is wonderful, family friendly, and we really enjoyed the cornhole and music!

I seriously thought about moving here permanently. The mountain scenery was breathtaking, bathrooms were very clean and warm (very nice as it was frosty out!), and being able to walk on the trails over to a beautiful restaurant/brewery/event center was awesome. As was the food. I hope to come back here!

Was VERY disappointed to hear that the rates for the campground have doubled for this year. I asked what improvements have been made to the campground and was told NONE. I realize that everything is more expensive but to double the price? We have camped there many times and have really enjoyed it. We would love to go back but probably won’t for $135-$150 a night. We pay less than that at campgrounds with many more amenities.

We have stayed at Devils Backbone campground at least 4 times in the last couple of years and this place is so well maintained. Nicole, the Campground Girl, is outstanding. Super helpful, friendly and professional. She keeps the place top notch. Definitely a huge asset for DB. Thanks for all the hiking recommendations Nicole!!!!!
