Summersville Lake Retreat & Lighthouse was great for our long weekend stay. We did hammock camping and enjoyed our site. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot and taken care of. There were lots of fun amenities like cornhole and the lighthouse. You could tell that the owners cared, the workers were present and very on top of the retreat.

We rented one of their pontoon boats for the day. We wanted to cruise the lake and give my daughter a memorable birthday experience. Overall it was a great experience and they made the whole thing smooth and efficient. The boat was easy to operate for beginners and they went over everything you needed to know before putting you on the water. I would highly recommend them for a boat rental and their little gift shop was cool as well. We'll definitely be visiting them again!

Wonderful park with an amazing location close to Summersville, Fayetteville and National Park. Stayed in RV site and it was easy to level out. 50 amp hookup just no sewer but a nice local company will come empty your tanks for $25. The food around the area was all great. Camp has a cute shop and even cuter dogs.

Great campground. Very quiet with beautiful views of Summersville lake. The staff was awesome. The campground was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms/showers were clean and well kept. Our site was large with a great view. The campground lacks a true campground store but that’s not a deal breaker. About 15 minutes from the northern visitor center for the New River Gorge NP.

This is a very nice, well-kept campground (it is NOT a hotel) with beautiful views of the lake. We have stayed here several times on our way to and from Florida as it is conveniently located on the route we take.
